mission statement
What is O.W.L.S.?
Based out of Temple University, O.W.L.S is an initiative that strives to create a network of mentorship, sponsorship, and support for female students in STEM fields.
While the focus of this chapter currently lies in Chemistry, we hope to impact the undergraduate and graduate student population across all CST Departments. Beyond Temple, O.W.L.S. seeks to provide networking and mentorship opportunities through symposia featuring local female researchers. |

communityMentorship OpportunitiesAs progress and growth often stem from collaboration, O.W.L.S. strives to bring together members of our own chemistry department through mentorship opportunities. Through this program, mentors will be paired with a mentee, getting the chance to share their experiences in STEM and offer advice to a mentee, while building their own leadership skills. Mentees will gain a support system and have an easier time navigating the world of STEM.
